Signature Chefs of Huntsville at The Westin
The March of Dimes Signature Chefs of Huntsville pays tribute to the culinary excellence of local chefs from our community while raising significant revenue to help in the fight to save babies. Local chefs present their signature dishes in tasting size portions during a cocktail reception. During the reception, there is a large silent auction consisting of items such as signed memorabilia, jewelry, gift certificates and much, much more!
A live auction follows with packages that may include unique dinners, hotel stays and weekend getaways that
are put together by the chefs.
The 2011 Signature Chefs of Huntsville event is planned for Monday, November 14th at The Westin Hotel. Event Chair, Melissa Riopka, Anchor with WAAY 31 News, and Honorary Chef, James Boyce owner of Cotton Row Restaurant downtown Huntsville, are very excited about this year's new event - and they know you will be, too!
It will be a special event full of fantastic food and drinks, exciting live and silent auction items, first-class networking and a culinary experience unlike any other! See Huntsville best chefs show off as they prepare their signature dishes for you! Ten to twelve of our finest chefs will be showcased, and their signature dishes available for guests to sample and savor as part of this awesome event!
Signature Chefs of Huntsville is organized by a volunteer committee and supported by March of Dimes staff. About 250-300 people are expected to attend, including local corporate and civic leaders. This year’s goal is $125,000 and the majority of funds will be raised through corporate sponsorships and bids on live and silent auction items.
